Intilaaqah Oman Contributes to Success of Global Youth Enterprise Programme

Intilaaqah Oman has contributed to the success of a leading international youth enterprise programme that has provided over 2.8 million young people globally with information, advice and support to consider starting their own businesses.

Intilaaqah is a member of the Shell LiveWIRE global network, one of Shell’s social investment programmes which operates in 22 countries and links 93,000 young entrepreneurs around the world through its online social network.

Said Abdullah Al Jufaili, Director, Intilaaqah Oman, “In addition to its contribution to the success of the international programme, Intilaaqah Oman is making a real difference to young people in  the Sultanate of Oman. Since date, Intilaaqah has helped over 6,100 young people to explore the option of starting a business, and has helped over 2,500 businesses to start up.”

One of the many young entrepreneurs to have benefited from the LiveWIRE Country programme is Layla Al Farsi, Owner and Founder of Al Wisal Nursery in Muscat. Engaging with Intilaaqah has provided me with an opportunity to widen my view of managing the business and the platform to promote my business.  [AJ1]

It is delivered by local people who really understand how to provide young people with the encouragement and support they need to take an enterprising approach to their employment prospects, in a way that inspires them.”
