Intilaaqah 'Bright Ideas’ training in SULTAN Qaboos University

In cooperation with the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Intilaaqah is conducting a training course at the Investment Club for the College of Commerce & Economics students. The training courses titled ‘Bright Ideas’ is a one-day course that covers some topics and introduces some exercises which aim at motivating the participant to have positive thinking towards starting their own business.

Yearly, Intilaaqah conducts several training courses at SQU and other private universities and colleges with the aim of motivating Omanis to think about starting their own business. Further Intilaaqah provides consulting services to assist those who choose to start their business in different fields.

For reference, “Intilaaqah” is one of Shell’s social investment programme in Oman that has been modelled based on Shell-funded initiative called ‘LiveWIRE’, running in 26 countries across the world. Intilaaqah’s main objective is to stimulate and encourage unemployed Omani youth to consider the option of setting up their own businesses, and to provide assistance to those who aspire to seek this opportunity by providing them with training and counselling. 

In the same vein, Intilaaqah programme is supported by several public and private sector organizations which includes: -SANAD Programme, Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Bank Muscat, National Bank of Oman (NBO), Oman International Bank (OIB) and Oman Air
