Intilaaqah Enterprise Fund (IEF) and GroFin focus on the Environment

Part of its efforts to educate aspiring entrepreneurs about best practices, the Intilaaqah Enterprise Fund (IEF) managed by Grofin Oman, held on Wednesday an environmental workshop at Petroleum Development Oman Learning and Development Hub. The workshop was attended by GroFin Oman General Manager Ms. Abeer Al Abduwani as well as some of GroFin and Intilaaqah clients.

“Reducing our carbon footprint is a hot topic in every business community. We at GroFin believe that we share the responsibility of educating our clients who are off to become future business leader in Oman, about environmental issues. Certainly, we look at the business environmental standards before awarding them funds to grow their project.” Commented Abeer Al Abduwani

The workshop was designed in a way to make it interactive. Participants watched Al Gore’s “Inconvenience Truth” movie and that was followed by a reflection of what an individual can do to reduce their carbon footprint in the office, at home and within the society they live in.

Commenting at the workshop, Salim Al Maskiry, Training Manager, Intilaaqah said “Intilaaqah main services are focused on enhancing the skills of local entrepreneurs in various business aspects by providing high quality training programs. We provide short and long term workshops in business management customized to suit the needs of our clients.”
